These terms describe the basic rules for using Yafbog.
They are deliberately written in normal language. Additional details may be added as the service grows and humanity discovers exciting new ways to require additional paragraphs.
Using Yafbog
You may use Yafbog if you are legally permitted to do so.
You must be at least 13 years old. If the law where you live requires a higher minimum age for using a service like Yafbog, that higher age applies.
You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for taking reasonable steps to keep your account secure.
Don't wreck the place
Do not use Yafbog to:
- Violate applicable law
- Threaten, seriously harass, or deliberately target people for abuse
- Impersonate another person or deceptively misrepresent who you are
- Distribute malware or malicious code
- Attempt to compromise accounts, servers, or other systems
- Circumvent access controls or security measures
- Spam people or operate abusive automated systems
- Publish material you do not have the right to publish
- Use the service primarily to interfere with other people's ability to use it
This is not intended to prohibit disagreement, arguments, criticism, weird jokes, unpopular opinions, or ordinary human friction.
People are allowed to dislike each other. Civilization somehow continues.
Your content
You keep ownership of content that you own.
By posting content to Yafbog, you give Yafbog the limited permission necessary to store, process, reproduce, and display that content as required to operate the service and according to the visibility settings you choose.
That permission does not transfer ownership of your content to Yafbog.
Other people's content
Other users are responsible for what they post.
Something appearing on Yafbog does not mean Yafbog endorses, verifies, agrees with, or has carefully contemplated it over breakfast.
Moderation
Yafbog may restrict, hide, remove, or otherwise moderate content or accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect the service or its users, respond to abuse, or comply with legal requirements.
Moderation systems and policies may evolve as the community develops.
Availability
We intend for Yafbog to work.
This is not, however, a contractual guarantee that the service will operate forever, without interruption, without bugs, or without somebody eventually discovering that a particular database query was much stupider than it looked on Tuesday.
Features may be added, changed, limited, or removed.
Security
Do not attempt to access accounts, data, systems, or administrative functions you are not authorized to access.
Good-faith security research should not involve damaging the service, accessing private user data unnecessarily, or disrupting other people's use of Yafbog. A more specific vulnerability-reporting process may be published later.
Changes
These terms may be updated as Yafbog develops.
Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised update date.
